| Description | Nectin-4 protein, full name Nectin Cell Adhesion Molecule 4, also known as Poliovirus Receptor-Related Protein 4 (PVRL4), is an important cell adhesion molecule and a member of the nectin family of immunoglobulin-like adhesion proteins. Abnormal expression of Nectin-4 protein is closely associated with the occurrence, progression, and metastasis of various malignant tumors, including breast cancer, lung cancer, ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer, and urothelial carcinoma. Currently, Nectin-4-targeted therapeutic strategies have shown significant clinical promise, with the antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) Enfortumab Vedotin being approved for the treatment of locally advanced or metastatic urothelial carcinoma.
