Description IL-1RL1 protein, full name Interleukin-1 Receptor-Like 1, also known as ST2, is an important cell surface transmembrane receptor protein and a member of the Toll-like/IL-1 receptor (TIR) superfamily.
Abnormal expression or dysregulated signaling of IL-1RL1 protein is closely associated with the pathogenesis and progression of various inflammatory, fibrotic, and allergic diseases, particularly asthma, atopic dermatitis, idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, and cardiovascular diseases.
Currently, several IL-1RL1-targeted therapeutic strategies have been developed or are under clinical investigation.
