Source Human IL-7RA Protein; His Tag (GM-88526RP) is expressed from human 293 cells (HEK-293). It contains AA Glu 21 - Asp 239 (Accession # P16871-1).
This protein carries a His tag at the C-terminus.
Purity > 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE
Endotoxin < 1 EU/μg, determined by LAL gel clotting assay
Predicted Mol Mass 26.1 KDa
Formulation Supplied as a 0.2 μm filtered solution of PBS, pH7.2-7.4.
Description Human IL-7RA protein is a key immune regulatory molecule that belongs to the hematopoietin receptor superfamily. It is encoded by the IL7R gene and is a protein closely associated with the human immune system. IL-7RA protein was initially identified in immune cells and later found to be widely expressed in multiple lymphoid tissues and cell subsets.
Human IL-7RA protein regulates the development and survival of lymphocytes by binding to the IL-7 ligand and forming a functional receptor complex with the common gamma chain (γc). Lymphocytes, including T cells and B cells, are important types of immune cells with critical functions in immune defense, immune memory and immune homeostasis, making them central members of the adaptive immune system.
Research indicates that IL-7RA protein plays a significant role in promoting lymphocyte proliferation, maintaining T cell survival and regulating immune system development. Additionally, abnormal expression or mutation of IL-7RA protein is associated with immunodeficiency diseases, autoimmune disorders and the tumor immune microenvironment, making it a potential target for immunotherapy and immune regulation.
