Background IL1A and IL1B belong to the same IL-1 cytokine family and are located adjacent to the Q13 region of human chromosome 2 Lutikizumab is an anti-il-1α and il-1β bivariate domain immunoglobulin that centrally targets two key proinflammatory cytokines, il-1α and il-1β, and has been shown to inhibit the production of il-1α and il-1β, a series of clinical studies have been carried out in the field of osteoarthritis (especially synovitis subtypes) by blocking IL-1 pathway-mediated inflammatory response through precise dual-target recognition and inhibition mechanisms, it provides a new direction for the treatment exploration of inflammatory phenotype osteoarthritis.
